Opening weekend is here for Slinger Speedway
VILLAGE OF BRISTOL, Wis. (CBS 58) – It was a gloomy and snowy Sunday fit for January, but the heavy and wet snow came in April.
Residents in the Village of Bristol received eight inches of snow on Sunday.
“It’s the Midwest, so it really didn’t shock me. I actually like the snow and the cold weather,” Beth Hook said.
One man says the spring snow is what comes along with living in Wisconsin.
“If you don’t like the weather, then you shouldn’t live here I think or if you can’t tolerate it,” Buddy Casanova said. “Wherever you go you have to put up with something like tornadoes or hurricanes or whatever. At least we can count on this and it doesn’t usually destroy our homes.”
