MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's beginning to look a lot more like Christmas outside Milwaukee's City Hall.
On Thursday, they lit up the city's Christmas tree.
That 37-foot Blue Spruce was donated to the city by the Badillo family from the south side.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says the ceremony had one simple message.
"And that's why I'm so excited to see all of you here tonight literally coming together to celebrate our community," said Mayor Tom Barrett.
The crowd was treated to holiday music and a program celebrating the season.
