Opening weekend is here for Slinger Speedway
MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- Lovers of model trains flocked to State Fair Park over the weekend.
It was the 48th year for Trainfest -- America's largest operating model railroad show. It spans five football fields with everything trains.
This year, there was more than 70 different layouts from large to very small, and also from all over the U.S.
"I think people like trains just because its a part of history ..way back in the beginning of the country that's how people traveled, got from one place to the other, it's kind of nostalgic," said Jane Blau, Exhibitor.
CBS 58 is a proud sponsor of Trainfest.
