Kick off the fall season with Harvest Fair 2018 at Wisconsin State Fair Park

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Harvest Fair returns to Wisconsin State Fair Park Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30.

Admission is free.

The event will take place Friday from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Celebrating its 25th year, Harvest Fair takes place in Central Mall and Central Park, as well as the Original Cream Puff Pavilion (Harvest Café), Exploratory Park and The Back 40 (west of the Original Cream Puff Pavilion).

The event features FREE live entertainment and activities for the entire family. Headliners at the Associated Bank Amphitheater include Morgan Wallen on Friday at 8 p.m., Mark Farner’s American Band on Saturday at 5 and 8 p.m. and Bobby Way and the Fabulous Wayouts on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Many Harvest Fair favorites are back, including Pumpkin Bowling and the Pig Slide, along with traditions like Scarecrow Making, Cookie Decorating, Amusement Rides, the Trackless Train and more! Families are encouraged to check out the many FREE Harvest Fair activities, like Tiny Tot Acres and Leaf Your Print in Exploratory Park. Whether you missed your chance in August or want to take another magic carpet ride, the Giant Slide will once again be open at Harvest Fair.

New this year, State Fair staple Kenny Ahern will bring his beloved family-friendly entertainment to Harvest Fair! Kenny Ahern’s Family Comedy Show, presented by Empower Credit Union, will have kids and parents laughing with hilarious physical comedy and exciting audience interaction. This amazing comedy show is a can’t-miss event. Showtimes are as follows: Friday at 6, 7 & 8 pm; Saturday at 11 am, 1, 3 & 5 pm; and Sunday at 11 am, 1 & 3 pm.

Some activities require the purchase of tickets at ticket booths located throughout Harvest Fair. Tickets cost $1 each and the number of tickets required per activity is posted at each location.
