Man hurt in shooting near 12th and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting on the city's north side. 

Police were called to the scene near N. 12th St. and W. Meinecke Ave. around 1:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim, a 20-year-old man, was approached by three subjects for an unknown reason. The victim was shot, and ran from the scene. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

Police continue to investigate and search for suspects.
