19-year-old killed in shooting near 13th and Abert Friday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Friday, Nov. 26, near 13th and Abert.

Police say the fatal shooting happened at approximately 9:05 a.m. Friday.

Authorities report that gunshots were fired into a residence and subsequently struck the victim.

Officials say the victim, a 19-year-old man, died from his gunshot injuries.

Milwaukee police reportedly continue to seek unknown suspects.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, the medical examiner is responding to the homicide of an adult male near 13th and Abert Friday.

An autopsy on the victim is reportedly scheduled for Monday, Nov. 29.
