Milwaukee Police called to The Hop after report of sparking streetcar

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police were called to The Hop on Tuesday evening after a report of the streetcar sparking. 

It happened around 9:30 p.m.

The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the scene and took the streetcar off the wires.

Battery power was used to get them back to the station. 

There were no injuries reported to anyone. 

The Milwaukee Fire Department says no actual sparking or fire happened.
