MPD investigating shootings that injured 2 people

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that left two injured Sunday night, Sept. 5.

The first shooting happened around 6:50 p.m. near W. Villard Ave. and Green Bay Ave.  The victim is a 21-year-old Milwaukee woman. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in critical condition.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, Sept. 5, at approximately 11:14 p.m. near S. 12th and W. Orchard St.

The victim is a 24-year-old Milwaukee man. He sustained non-fatal injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspects.
