Officials: 5 taken to hospital following Sheboygan County crash, 1 with life-threatening injuries

RHINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- First responders were called to a two-vehicle accident Friday, Nov. 29, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 5:22 p.m. on State Highway 57 at the intersection of County Road FF in the town of Rhine.

According to a news release, a Ford Fiesta driven by a 32-year-old man from Kiel was traveling north and turned west in front of a southbound Dodge Caravan operated by a 30-year-old man from Kiel.

Authorities say the operator of the Ford was taken to Froedtert Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. 

The operator of the Dodge, along with a 29-year-old woman and two children were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
