DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An updated release from the Dodge County Sheriff's Office reveals that a 21-year-old Watertown man died in the crash driving a 2002 Chevrolet on State Highway 16. Kyle Kuehl's car collided with a driver from California. Officials say the cars were driving in opposite directions when they crashed head-on.
The driver from California sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal July 4th crash. Around 2:30 p.m. 911 calls came in of a head-on crash between two vehicles on the State Highway 16 bypass near Second Street on the northern fringe of Watertown.
According to officials, both cars were only occupied by the drivers. The driver of the car going west was dead when first responders arrived. The driver going east was taken by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies believe one of the cars crossed over the centerline, but the exact cause of the crash is being investigated.
State Highway 16 has been closed due to the crash and will re-open Wednesday evening.
