One person injured in afternoon house fire

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department says one person was injured in a fire early Saturday afternoon.   According to the MFD, the sole occupant of the home along W Spencer Place near N 60th Street was treated for smoke inhalation and is being assisted by the Red Cross.   The fire was reported in basement of a home  around 1:55 PM and was quickly extinguished.     The extent of damage is not available at this time and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
