Packers sign guard, place Byron Bell on IR

The Green Bay Packers signed a replacement guard after tackle/guard Byron Bell was forced to the injured reserve list. The announcement was made Wednesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.

With Bell out, the Packers replaced him with guard Nico Siragusa, who has spent all of this season on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad. In 2017, his rookie year, Siragusa spent the entire season on the injured reserve list with a knee injury he suffered during training camp.

Siragusa played college football at San Diego State. In his senior season, he was named a first-team All-American by USA Today and a third-team All-American by The Associated Press.

Siragusa is 6-foot-4 and weighs 320 pounds. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Ravens.
