Person killed in truck vs. semi crash in Lomira

LOMIRA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the deceased as 41-year-old Campbellsport man Cale Dietrich.

TOWNSHIP OF LOMIRA, Wis. (CBS 58) – A person is dead after hitting a semi truck with his car on Interstate 41 near State Highway 28 Thursday night.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was driving a pickup truck the wrong way in the southbound lanes around 11:59 p.m.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the semi suffered non-life threatening injuries and was flown by Flight for Life to a hospital.

The two driver’s identities are not being released at this time.

The highway was closed down for several hours. Authorities are investigating the crash.
