Police: 15-year-old seriously injured in shooting near 28th and Courtland

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting on Friday evening.

Police were called to the 2800 block of W. Courtland Avenue around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located the 15-year-old victim suffering from a serious gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing.

No suspects are in custody at this time.
