Police chase in Sheboygan County reaches 115 mph

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Saturday evening just before 5:30 p.m. Sheboygan County Sheriff's Deputies tried to stop a car for driving erratically on I-43 north. Instead of stopping, the car sped off and Deputies gave chase.

The suspect's car reached 115 mph before getting off I-43 and driving south on Highway 42. Deputies continued to follow until it got a flat tire driving through a ditch at Hidden Valley Road near Ajax Street.

The suspect then hit a squad car, a tree and two parked vehicles before coming to a stop. The suspect refused to cooperate and was pepper sprayed and arrested.

The 25-year-old man driving the car was the only person in the vehicle. No on was injured in the incident.
