MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) – The excitement for the Brewers continues on Tuesday as fans head to Miller Park for that postseason merchandise.
Hats, shirts, and everything in between have been flying off the shelves as fans stock up.
“I bought a hat for the division champions and a t-shirt for my son-in-law, who’s ecstatic,” says Brewer fan Jim Schober. “He thinks this is the best thing that’s come to Milwaukee”.
And he’s not the only one.
“It’s been fun to see everybody and the team is so good,” says Brewers fan Judy Hogan. “Every one of them does wonderful things for the whole team”.
Following Monday’s win against the Cubs the team story opened its doors for a straight 24 hours.
All Monday night and Tuesday there was a steady stream of die hard fans picking up their merchandise.
But fans aren’t the only ones getting ready for the post season.
“MLB ships out some logos for us to decorate the field with as we make it into the NLDS,” says grounds keeper Michael Boettcher. “We got the stencils in and last night we opened them up and got the logo stenciled”.
From moisture control to a few artistic additions ground keepers have been hard at work preparing the field for Thursday.
“I’m ready! Bring it on,” says Schober. “That’s what we gotta do”.
The team store will remain open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
