Back The Badge Golf Outing

Here’s a chance to show appreciation for law enforcement officers in Racine County. Donate to the Back The Badge Golf Outing.

The event is Monday, September 9th at Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford. Money raised pays for law enforcement officers to have a fun day on the links.

The organizers explain why they started the outing and the reaction received from participating officers.

Surprise!

House of Harley-Davidson surprises the organizers of Back the Badge Golf Outing with a big donation.

Band of Blue

Brave men and women in law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. Some of those officers don’t return home. In fact, we’ve seen it too many times in southeastern Wisconsin over the last year-- officers killed while working.

The non-profit organization Band of Blue supports the children of those officers. The President of the group and his teenage daughter, part of his inspiration for starting the group, show you how Band of Blue is making a significant difference in the lives of law enforcement families.

4th Fest of Greater Racine

USA Today once named Racine’s 4th Fest parade one of the top 10 in the country for Independence Day. Two of the organizers explain why it’s still top-notch and what you can expect this year when it comes to everything from the floats to the fireworks.

Oh, and hey der, Charlie Berens will be there too. Oh my gosh! Holy cow!
