Rain for some, others nothing!

A couple of systems that brought rain to the area brought a soaking, wet rain to some, and kept others rather dry. The positioning of the systems have been key giving beneficial rains to the western and southwestern part of the viewing area.

Parts of Fond du Lac and Rock County were under Flood Advisories and Flash Flood Warnings the last two days with the heavy nature of the rain. Radar estimates were showing over 4” of rain in parts of those areas from yesterday. Parts of Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Washington, and even far eastern Fond du Lac Counties have gone rain-free.

Rainfall continues this morning with a few cracks of thunder as well. Severe weather is not expected but ponding of the road and minor flooding is possible with any shower or storm. The low pressure and rain will begin to move on out today. Spotty showers will come to an end for the weekend with beautiful weather expected. There’s a small chance of any pop-up showers tomorrow with all of the sunshine and stable air. Highs will climb back in the low to mid 80s for the weekend.
