St. Francis Police searching for suspect who tried to get student into car

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The St. Francis Police Department is currently searching for a man who tried to get a student into his car.

It happened around 12:38 p.m. on Wednesday while the student was walking home from school in the 3500 block of E. Howard Avenue.

According to the student, a man pulled over near Kingan and Van Beck and asked her if she wanted to get into his vehicle.

The student allegedly told the man no and continued to walk north on Kingan.

According to the student, the man continued to drive behind her, asking her several times to get in the vehicle.

The student said she ignored the driver and continued on her way.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with long black hair and a goatee. He was last seen driving an older black car similar to the size of a Chevy Malibu. 

Anyone with information is asked to call St. Francis Police.
