Zion Police searching for vehicle with Wisconsin license plate that hit, seriously injured pedestrian

ZION, Ill. (CBS 58) -- The Zion Police Department is searching for the vehicle wanted for a hit-and-run which left a pedestrian seriously injured.

It happened around 9:49 a.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Elisha Avenue in Zion.

According to police, the pedestrian was dragged by an older model four-door sedan, gray in color, with a partial Wisconsin license plate of AEZ.

The vehicle was driven by a man and a woman and last seen traveling eastbound in the 1200 block of 21st Street.

The pedestrian, a 62-year-old woman from Zion, was taken by Flight for Life to a hospital in Libertyville for treatment of serious injuries.
