MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's a big week for Brewers fans, and Monday was all about getting ready for it as we found all over Milwaukee.

With so much blue and yellow, there's no denying how much support this city's throwing behind its Brewers. There are 16 buildings now decorated in Brewers colors.

"I mean, Milwaukee knows how to roll out the red carpet," said Claire Koenig, with VISIT Milwaukee.

Or blue and yellow carpet, in this case.

"I'm happy to see the colors blue and yellow all over Milwaukee. The Hoan Bridge is lit up nicely," said Tom Turkey, Brewers fan.

You can check it out for yourself. Here's a list of the 16.

"We're just really grateful for the Brewers and all that they do," said Koenig.

Twenty-four hours ahead of Game 1 in the postseason Wild Card series against the Diamondbacks, players themselves were getting ready on a field that's already surrounded by postseason signage.

At the Brewers Team Store, fans were getting ready too.

"This is an amazing time of the year for us, man, I'm so happy. That's why we're picking up merchandise now. We're gonna try to make the game," said Brewers fan Jason Harris.

Krista Coon drove down from Nekoosa, Wisconsin to be here.

"They're doing awesome. It's fun to watch and I'm excited to be able to come down this year for my first one," said Coon.

But narrowing her purchase down to just one shirt was tough.

Erica Larson left the store with a bag and a smile.

"Because we did not want to deal with the lines tomorrow, want to make sure that we're ready in our Brewer gear, so yeah, got the jersey today and are ready to cheer on the Brew Crew tomorrow," said Larson.

She'll be wearing a Contreras jersey.

"Why Contreras?" we asked. "It's my son's favorite," she said. "So if it's my son's favorite, it's my favorite too and he's had a great season. And we love his walk-up songs."

Seems the only thing left to be decided is whether or not the roof will be open Tuesday night.

"I would like it to be open because of the weather. The nice weather, let's have it open for the last days that we can," said Harris.
