MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- BMO and Summerfest are sustaining their commitment to minority-owned businesses with BMO EMpower grants, providing six enterprises the chance to feature as marketplace vendors during Summerfest’s 55th anniversary.
The BMO EMpower program extended its support to the vendors, including Wisconsin Up, Kalina & Co. and Keepnitmil, whose owner Cesar Cornier designed a T-shirt available at the Summerfest store and online.
The program also offers recipients financial advice through one-on-one sessions with a BMO relationship manager.
Our own Frankie Jupiter spoke to three of the grant recipients on Thursday, July 7.
