Carry-in drink policy eased for Brewers game due to high Wednesday heat

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are advising fans to exercise caution due to high temperatures in town during the Wednesday, Aug. 23 game against the Minnesota Twins at American Family Field.

The game is scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. and is forecast to be under intense heat, so the team has decided to relax the standard carry-in policy for drinks.

Fans can bring clear plastic bottles of any size and the number of bottles per person will not be limited. The one listed limitation is that no alcohol will be allowed to be carried in, regardless of the container.

The roof will be open at American Family Field, and cooling rooms will be available on the Terrace Level. Additional EMS crews will be on site to assist fans as needed.
