"Don't get cute with us:" President Trump asks Harley not to build overseas during Foxconn event

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- During President Trump's speech during the Foxconn groundbreaking event in Mount Pleasant, he touched on several other subjects briefly including a controversy of intense local interest. 

"Harley-Davidson, please build those beautiful motorcycles in the USA, please, okay? Don't get cute with us. Don't get cute," President Trump said. 

During the event, the president did not openly criticize the Milwaukee motorcycle manufacturer for its announcement that it would build some motorcycles overseas because of tariff politics. 

He did, however, say that if Harley does build overseas, "your customers won't be happy."
