MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Your green thumb might be a bit colder this time of the year.  But it still can be effective.  This is the topic of a winter workshop happening Monday afternoon at Villard Public Library hosted by the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, or MFIA.  One big subject covered will be prepping the ground for planting, especially as we approach spring. Milwaukee Urban Agricultural Network, or MUAN, and the Ultimate Farm Collaborative are playing a big part with the event as well. It runs from 2 until 4 p.m.
