BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- This Saturday is National Archery Day. West Town Archery in Brookfield has been teaching people about the sport for 60 years. People are encouraged to come in for an hour of archery or longer.

"We have three different ranges here. Right next door to us, [where we're sitting], we have a 30-yard range where we can shoot point blank out to 30 yards," said Fred Schaffhauser.

Fred, all four of his brothers, and many of their children, have competed as archers.

"We all competed at different levels, and all have our own successes -- local, state, national," said Schaffhauser.

Whether you've been bowhunting for years or you just want to play archery for fun, West Town Archery has a space to play.

"To start off, all you need is to have the desire to do it," said Schaffhauser.
