MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Monica and Rayford Jackson now have a new place to call home in Milwaukee's Harambee neighborhood.
"It was a part of our grandparents home, they actually owned a home across the street. They bought this home in order to help family and friends."
The couple got the city-owned home through a lease-to-own program. One of the terms is fixing up the home.
Mayor Tom Barrett also presented the homeowners with a housewarming gift.
