MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee and businesses around Fiserv Forum continue to prepare for the Republican National Convention coming in just 70 days.

Fifty-thousand people are coming to Milwaukee and businesses have questions about their operations and how they can be prepared.

On Monday, the Secret Service and the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee held a 'Coffee and Conversation' event for business owners. The goal is to answer questions and concerns businesses have if they are in the security zone surrounding the RNC.

The Chief Operating Officer for the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee says businesses should reach out

"I know the Secret Service is planning to work with everybody to help them make those deliveries into the places that are restricted access," said Alison Prange, Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee COO.

The Host Committee urges people to go to them directly if you have specific questions and reminded us that more security information will be released by the Secret Service in June.
