Milwaukee wholesale auto dealer has license revoked

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee-based Lisbon Motorsports, LLC has lost its wholesale dealer license following a Wisconsin Department of Transportation order, according to a news release issued by WisDOT on Friday, March 29.

The revocation reportedly stems from the dealership’s failure to adhere to state laws regarding certificates of title and record-keeping requirements.

WiisDOT's Division of Motor Vehicles cited intentionally fraudulent conduct and failure to make records available as key violations by the dealership.

The initial revocation took effect on Jan. 25, with a subsequent WisDOT hearing on Feb. 26 upholding the decision. Lisbon Motorsports reportedly chose not to appeal, rendering the revocation final after a 30-day window to appeal.
