SOUTH MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says they found additional human remains in South Milwaukee on Thursday, April 18.

Officials say the remains were found near 3305 Marina Road, along a remote stretch of tree-lined beach along Lake Michigan - nearly a quarter mile from an apartment complex, where they are believed to have washed ashore.

The MCSO says a torso and arm were found by a citizen walking on the beach.

“[It is] heartbreaking because it could’ve been me," Angela Buchanan said.

Buchanan lives in the apartment complex near where the body parts were found and tells CBS 58 she was walking along the shoreline the night before, with her dog.

"I do hope that they're able to find the rest of her remains, just so that the family can have a proper burial for her, and they can have some closure, but it doesn't make it any easier when people all over Milwaukee are finding those parts," she said. "I can't imagine what Sade's family is going through. Nobody will ever be able to understand. You can't ever relate to that, but just knowing that this happened so close to home is such a hard thing."

Officials believe the remains are those of Sade Robinson, a 19-year-old who investigators believe was murdered by 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson on or near April 2.

Anderson has been charged in connection with Robinson's death.

The investigation into Robinson's death is ongoing.

Friday, April 19, authorities will further search Lake Michigan for Robinson's remains and additional evidence.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact MCSO at (414) 278-4788 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (414)224-TIPS.
