Multiple chances for strong to severe storms this weekend
The Racine Zoo is unveiling a newly renovated exhibit located in the Benstead Discovery Center.
The zoo's aquarium has been restocked with more than 150 fish native to Africa, including the variety of vibrantly colored African Cichlids. The fish are juvenile and will be able to grow up through the care of the Racine Zoo.
The Racine Zoo would like to thank Mark Stephens for all of the donations and help with the process of getting the tank set up and ready for public display. Also thank you to Aquatics, Inc. of Porridge IL, who donated 150 assorted African Cichlids to the Racine Zoo.
The new exhibit is now open.
