Oak Creek officer taken to hospital after squad rear-ended on I-94

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after an on-duty Oak Creek police officer was rear-ended in his squad car Monday evening, May 6. 

Police say it happened around 7:21 p.m. on I-94 at Drexel Avenue. 

The officer was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. 

The other driver remained at the scene and is cooperating as the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office investigates.
