Overnight funeral home fire in Milwaukee under investigation

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Firefighters responded to an early morning call of a fire at a funeral home near Fond du Lac and Sherman in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Fire Dept. officials tell CBS 58 that they responded to the initial call at around 3 a.m., with the fire being under control by 3:24 a.m.

It took place at Serenity Funeral Home on the city's north side.

Officials say that there were no injuries involved, either to people or to responding firefighters. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
