Union Grove (CBS 58)--If it’s a Wednesday in July, chances are a county fair is starting somewhere across the Badger System. This week, it’s Racine’s turn. Livestock, food, rides fun. And tractor pulls in the grandstand.
I had the chance to ride a tractor for my first time to get a feel of the track. Didn't too bad. Drove it like a stick shift. But if you want to see the real pros do it, head to the fair this evening. A hundred trucks and tractors will compete with thousands packing the stands.
There are a few new attractions this year, including ATV races Thursday night and a Bengal tiger exhibit. The Racine County Fair runs through Sunday. For all the events you'll see at this particular county fair, just click here.
