Racine Fire Department investigating garbage truck fire

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A fire is under investigation after it caused $160,000 in damages to a garbage truck.

Crews were dispatched to the 800 block of Racine Street shortly after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to the fire department, the truck was parked in the "bulk garbage" lot where smoke and fire were observed coming from the cab of the vehicle.

There were no injuries reported.

The fire is an isolated incident and remains under investigation, authorities say.
