MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Last minute shoppers are flocking to grocery stores across the country on Wednesday ahead of Thanksgiving.
Store workers say it’s the busiest day of the year with the biggest crowds in the early morning and evening.
The manager at Fresh Thyme in Milwaukee says they’re prepared and shoppers shouldn’t worry about sold out or missing items.
“We have everything in stock right now. We’re primed and ready for a big day,” Store director Bill Stark said. “We’re expecting a much bigger holiday this year… our name is getting out there now and more people are familiar with our format.”
Many stores across the area, including Fresh Thyme, will be open on Thanksgiving.
