On August 22, the Genoa City Police Department responded to the Genoa City Foods for a burglary with a loss of $2,500 not including property damage.
Surveillance shows a silver car backing up to the front door at approximately 11:45 p.m. on August 21 and three people entering the business after breaking the glass window on the south side of the business.
The first suspect was wearing a hoody that displays a multicolored Macintosh "apple" logo on the front with a yellow shirt underneath the hoody. The Suspect was also wearing black pants with a white stripe down the sides of each leg. It is believed this suspect is of a larger physical build based on the suspect removing and carrying a large safe to a vehicle without assistance. The suspect also appears to be to have lighter colored skin.
The second suspect wore a darker gray or black hoody and lighter colored, possibly white, scarf and black “ski mask.” The suspect wore pants or shorts that have a white stripe on each leg to the knee area and overall white tennis shoes. The suspect also appears to be to have lighter colored skin.
The third suspect was wearing a darker gray or black hoody and was wearing pants that were possibly jeans.
The suspects’ car appears to be a silver small coupe, possibly a 2-door.
