Tournament Parking Prices Shocking Some Fans

With demand for parking spaces high, and supply low, many parking lots near the BMO Harris Bradley Center have increased prices.

On Thursday, many fans paid $50, or more, to park in lots near the arena.

The BMO Harris Bradley Center is hosting two days worth of NCAA Men's Division 1 Basketball Tournament games; four games are on Thursday, and two more will be played on Saturday.

Metered street parking spaces, run by the City of Milwaukee, are the cheapest option surrounding the Bradley Center. Most meters limit people to two hour blocks of time, but those parking spaces can be paid for using the smartphone app.

If people overstay the two hours they pay for, the city says it will result in a $22 ticket, even that ticket is $28 dollars less than a lot across the street from the arena.
