Two dead in vehicle fire near 30th and Capitol

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Wednesday, Nov. 30 around 7:45 p.m. near Capitol and 29th.

The unidentified driver was traveling east on W. Capitol Dr. when the driver collided with a tree after losing control of the car, resulting in a car fire.

There was also an unidentified passenger in the car. The driver and passenger were pronounced dead on scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and identification of the victims is pending.
