Vacant house damaged by morning fire

Authorities are investing the cause of an early morning fire in a vacant home on Milwaukee’s north side.   The fire was reported just after 6 AM Saturday in a 2-story home at N 36th and W Wright Streets.   According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, the fire was located in the attic of the structure.  Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about 30 minutes.   There is no estimate of the dollar amount of damage to the home.   No one was injured in the fire.
