WHITEWATER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Whitewater fire officials are updating the public on a big fire at a recycling center in Whitewater.
Smoke was first reported at John's Disposal just before 10 p.m. Sunday night.
By the time crews reached the scene, the building was fully engulfed in flames.
No workers were there at the time and there are no reports of anyone hurt.
The damage is worth millions, and authorities say the fire will last for days.
"The affected building houses recycling products...continues to smolder," said Assistant Chief Joe Uselding with the Whitewater Fire Department.
A spokesperson for John's Disposal should not affect trash and recycling pickup in Whitewater.
