Wine and Girl Scout cookies pair nicely at Vino Third Ward event starting this Thursday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You can raise a glass to Girl Scout cookies starting Thursday, March 14 at Vino Third War in Milwaukee.

Three glasses of wine will be paired with three sweet treats, including Do-si-dos, Samoas, Tagalongs and Thin Mints for a pairing extravaganza. Organizers say this is a way to immerse yourself in the spirt of Scouts all while sipping and tasting through the evening with the assistance of a Level Two sommelier or wine steward.

Tickets are $32, and for an extra $7, you can get an additional pairing.

There are a total of three sessions, including one Thursday and Friday evening and another Saturday afternoon. Click here for all the details, including purchasing tickets. There are a few other pairing events, including one involving potato chips and another for Easter.
