MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Kids at Allen-Field Elementary School on Milwaukee's south side learned an important message on Thursday.
"See it, feel scared, yell help, and tell a big person," was taught to kids as part of the "Yell and Tell" program. It teaches kids how to take action when they see someone in trouble or a dangerous situation.
"I think this is an important skill not just for them now, but also later in life as well. Kids need to understand if you don't make a quick decision, someone might die or somebody might get hurt," said Fritz Blandon, Principal at Allen-Field Elementary School.
Students were also taught how to prevent bullying.
