Packers get deadline extension in bid to avoid blackout

WEST MILWAUKEE -- The Green Bay Packers have been given an extra 24 hours to sell the 3,000 remaining non-premium tickets to this Sunday's playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Packers have been able to pare down their 40,000 ticket deficit to just 3,000 tickets in a matter of days. If the Packers don't sell the remaining 3,000 tickets by 4:00 p.m. on January 3rd, the game could face the dreaded blackout. The blackout for the Packers playoff game against the 49ers will cover both Green Bay and Milwaukee television markets.

Tickets prices for this game range between $102-$125. Fans can purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster.
