Peep Show at Racine Art Museum
Our Stories with Michele is a regular feature on the new CBS 58 News at 4 and 4:30 p.m.
They are stories from the community that bring fun and perspective to the community we all call home.
On Monday, Our Stories with Michele featured the Peep Show at the Racine Art Museum.
It features an array of artwork comprised of the marshmallow treats called Peeps.
\"We do this every year to bring people out of the winter doldrums,\" explained Lisa Englander of the Racine Art Museum. \"After seeing so much gray outside, it's nice to come in and see every color of the rainbow.\"
Competitors range in age from 5 to 88 and submit works from around the world.
Artists choose an array of theme, some re-enact their favorite movie scene.
Others have set up displays of famous moments in history, while one very talented local artist even made paint out of Peeps.
The show runs through April 12th at the museum located near 5th and Main in Racine.
