ATF offering a reward for info on fatal fire

Investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Milwaukee Police and Fire Departments and the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) announced on Tuesday that ATF is posting a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the April 17 arson fire that killed two occupants of a Milwaukee apartment.

On April 17, at approximately 3:18 a.m., the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) and Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) were dispatched to 2400 block of N. 38th Street, at the report of a duplex apartment fire. Following completion of the fire suppression, two adult occupants were found deceased inside the lower apartment.

Investigators are seeking the public's help in solving this crime and are hopeful that the reward will provide additional leads in this investigation.
