Fire Destroys Milwaukee Home

Milwaukee Fire Department responded to a fire at a vacant home at 22nd St & W Orchard around 1 AM Sunday morning. Upon arriving, firefighters observed large fire and collapse damage. 

There were concerns of the fire spreading to neighboring homes, but firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading. 

Firefighters returned to the home around 12:30 PM Sunday because it was smoldering. MFD was able to get the smoldering under control.

The home is believed to be a total loss. There were no injuries.
