Kenosha Police Searching for Identity of Body Found
On April 5, 2016, the Kenosha Police Department responded to the 5300 block of 122nd Avenue to investigate the skeletal remains that were found in a wooded area to the west of 122nd Avenue. This death remains under investigation.
The skeletal remains were determined to be human and were sent to a forensic anthropologist for examination. The forensic anthropologist has determined the remains are of an African-American male, between the ages of 30 to 60 years, with a height of between 5'4" to 6'.
It is believed the victim suffered from sickle cell anemia. DNA has been recovered from the remains, however, at this point, no DNA match has been established.
The victim was wearing a brand of clothing manufactured by the Perfetto Company. It is believed that the Perfetto clothing item was a pair of sweatpants. The color of the sweatpants is unknown.
