Racine Fire Searching for Driver after Car Fire

The Racine Fire Department responded to a call on Tuesday, December 13 at 10:34 AM for a report of fire coming from the engine compartment of a parked vehicle.

Firefighters arrived to the scene in the 2700 block of Olive Street and extinguished the fire while searching for the driver.

When no driver was found firefighters called for an investigator. The vehicle was towed to the city impound lot for further examination.

The owner of the vehicle is encouraged to contact the Racine Fire Department for further information. This cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
