High Winds Blow Great Horned Owl Nestling Out of his Nest

MILWAUKEE - Oh no! A Great Horned Owl fell out of his nest during the high winds yesterday.

According to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at the Humane Society, the little guy was uninjured. The center anticipates returning him to his wild parents and creating a more stable nest for him to prevent him from falling out again.

In the meantime, the facility is caring for the nestling and working to keep him warm, fed, and happy.
